Carlos Rodón set the tone for the Chicago White Sox 4-0 victory over the crosstown-rival Chicago Cubs with a brilliant performance on the mound. The 28-year-old southpaw scattered just two hits over five scoreless innings and fanned 11 batters. This effort marked Rodón's sixth career start with 10-plus strikeouts with no more than two hits allowed, which is the most in White Sox history. The next best is Chris Sale with four such outings.
