For the second time this season, Carlos Rodon allowed one hit or fewer and struck out 10 or more batters in an outing. With the dominant start, Rodon joined Chris Sale as the only other pitcher in White Sox history to strike out at least 10 batters and allow at most one hit I'm a single season. Rodon's first outing came earlier in the season in a no-hitter.
