In just his 223 career games, Fernando Tatis Jr. has accumulated 68 home runs and 50 stolen bases to become the fastest player in AL and NL history to 50 longballs and 50 swiped bags. The 22-year-old superstar entered Thursday's contest between the San Diego Padres and the Miami Marlins one stolen base shy from this historic feat. In the top of the fifth inning, "El Niño" successfully stole second base to secure the 50-50 mark. The previous record was held by nine-time MLB All-Star, Mike Trout, as he needed 266 games.
