Even Fernando Tatis Jr. was in awe of his performance for Team Dominican Republic, admiring his historic grand slam in a 10-1 rout of Team Israel. The outfielder hit his country's first such homer at the World Baseball Classic in the second inning and added a two-run knock in the seventh. Tatis' six RBI tied Adrián González (2009) for second-most ever in a tournament game.
