Prior to the start of a doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians, the Tampa Bay Rays called up their number two overall prospect, Vidal Brujan. The Dominican Republic product started at second base and immediately showed off his elite range with a diving stop in the top of the first inning. Brujan continued his hot start in the bottom half that inning with a 107-mph single for his first MLB hit and RBI. Not done there, Vidal stole second base for his first career swipe and later scored off of a single to cap off his electric first inning.
