Clayton Kershaw capped off the series finale against the Chicago Cubs with a vintage performance to seal a 7-1 Dodgers victory. The 33-year-old ace scattered four hits over eight innings of one-run ball and fanned a season-high 13 batters. Kershaw was locked in from his first pitch to his last as 70 of his 101 pitches went for strikes with 26 coming from swing-and-misses. The last time Clayton went eight or more innings in a start dates back to August of 2018.
