As Oakland's top prospect, Jesus has impressed many throughout his minor league climb and has had a few shining moments during his brief time in the majors. He demonstrated some veteran-like poise when facing the Astros lineup on Sunday afternoon. The 22-year-old worked 5.2 innings, allowing just two runs on five hits while striking out five. His teammates posted five runs of their own in the first five frames, putting Jesus in position to earn his first MLB victory.
