With a winner-take-all matchup in Game 7, the Rays turned the ball over to former Astros hurler Charlie Morton looking to punch their ticket to the World Series. The 36-year-old right-hander obliged with 5 and 2/3 scoreless innings pitched, two hits allowed and six punchouts. The herculean effort kept the Astros off the scoreboard long enough for the Rays to take a 4-0 lead in an eventual 4-2 win.
