With the Reds set to face the Brewers in the middle of a tight race for a spot in the Postseason, Trevor Bauer returned on short rest and dominated the opposition. Bauer fired eight innings, allowed just one run and struck out 12 batters to lead a convincing 6-1 win. The vital victory moved the Reds to 29-28 and kept the team ahead of the Brewers in the Postseason race.
