Another game, another highlight play from the Padres star shortstop. This time is wasn't with his bat or his glove, it was his ability to contort his body around the tag of Rangers third baseman Todd Frazier during a steal attempt in the top of the fourth inning. As reliever Ian Gibaut came to a set position, Fernando bolted for third base. Gibaut's throw was received by Frazier in time to get Tatis Jr. out, but the 21-year-old angled his body around the tag to swipe the bag. He now leads the majors with six steals.
