During Team Czech Republic's premiere World Baseball Classic contest, Martin Muzik stole the show with his ninth-inning, three-run homer that led his nation to an 8-5 victory over Team China. With one out, and his team down a run, Muzik connected on a pitch from reliever Kwon Ju to send the game-winning longball to deep left, plating teammates Martin Červenka and Jakub Grepl. Combined with his first-inning sacrifice fly, Muzik was good for four RBI in this historical, debut victory.
