Adding his share of impressive rookie efforts around MLB on Opening Day, JJ Wetherholt made his opportunity count. The St. Louis Cardinals top overall prospect hammered a 95-mph fastball to center field for his first big-league homer and hit in a 9-7 win over Tampa Bay. Wetherholt's longball is the first of its kind for the Cardinals in a debut since 1957 (Bobby Smith).
