Payton Tolle etched his name into Boston Red Sox history with a stellar outing against the Kansas City Royals. The rookie fireballer struck out the first three batters he faced in the first inning, leading his Club to a 4-1 win. Tolle recorded the eighth immaculate inning in franchise history and just the second in the first frame (Pedro Martínez, 2002).
