Seattle Mariners No. 5 prospect Lazaro Montes couldn't have asked for a better MLB debut, contributing with a multi-hit effort to fuel a 9-6 win. After collecting his first hit and RBI with a third-inning single, the Cuban native one-upped that with a solo shot two frames later. Montes joined Ichiro (2001) as the only Mariners batters ever with multiple knocks in a debut.
