Yankee Stadium was rocking with excitement in anticipation of George Lombard Jr.'s MLB debut, and he did not disappoint. The New York Yankees top prospect and starting shortstop followed up a nifty double play with a solo shot to left field for his first career hit. Lombard became the third-youngest franchise player (21 years, 63 days) to go yard in his big-league debut.
