He spent six of his 17 seasons, his longest tenure, in the Bay Area and helped his Club win an NL pennant in 2002. Kent was the first primary second baseman to win an NL MVP Award since 1984 with his 33-homer, 125-RBI, and .334-batting average season in 2000.
