Wilyer Abreu delivered when the Boston Red Sox needed him most in a 7-6 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. The red-hot slugger launched two home runs, including the go-ahead blast in the seventh inning, to extend Boston's MLB-leading winning streak to 12 games. Abreu became the first Red Sox player with consecutive multi-homer games since Mookie Betts in June 2016.
