Slade Cecconi drew a rousing ovation at Progressive Field after a commanding effort for Cleveland. The young hurler carried a no-hit bid into the eighth frame in a 10-2 Guardians victory over Kansas City. Cecconi's performance marks the fourth time since 1981 the franchise has had two no-hit bids of seven-plus innings in the same season (1987, 2015, 2021, and 2025).
