Shea Langeliers proved to be the spark plug for the Athletics, launching three solo blasts in a 16-7 win over Washington. Penciled in as the leadoff man for the first time in his career, the backstop went yard in the first, fifth, and seventh innings. Langeliers is only the second catcher in MLB history with such a game as his Club's leadoff hitter.
