MLB history was written on July 12, 2025, marking the first time that four Japanese-born hurlers started a game on the same day. Natives from the Land of the Rising Sun, Shohei Ohtani, Yu Darvish, Yusei Kikuchi, and Shinnosuke Ogasawara all took the mound for their respective Clubs. The Japanese quartet will look to keep it going in the second half of the 2025 season.
