The Detroit Tigers came to mash against the Colorado Rockies, clawing out road victories of 10-2 and 11-1 in a twinbill. It marked the franchise's first time winning by eight-plus runs in both ends of a doubleheader since August 30, 1953. The Tigers improved to 25-13 with the sweep, and now have the best record in the AL and a share of the best record in Baseball.
