When the sixth inning of the New York Mets 19-5 win over the Washington Nationals began, Brandon Nimmo had zero RBI on the day. By the eighth frame, he had nine, from a three-run homer, grand slam, and two-run double. Nimmo's career day tied the Club's single-game RBI mark (Carlos Delgado) and made him the third MLB player since 1920 with nine-plus RBI in a three-inning span.
