The Dominican Republic native's resilience and clutch genes were on full display on Saturday, smacking a massive go-ahead three-run shot in the 10th inning after a seven-pitch at-bat. The homer ultimately turned out to be the ALCS Game 5 winning effort, defeating the Cleveland Guardians, 5-2, on the road. Soto's blast sent the Bronx Bombers to their first World Series appearance since 2009.
