It was a day that St. Louis Cardinals top prospect Thomas Saggese had been dreaming about and will never forget. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Saggese recorded his first career hit with a single to right field. The Cardinals number four-ranked prospect wasn't done quite yet as he had another knock in the eighth inning, with a runner in scoring position to pick up his first career RBI. The youngster's memorable day would help his team to a 6-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
