Closer Emmanuel Clase has simply been one of the nastiest pitchers in MLB since his debut in 2019, and the historical feat he achieved on Friday night is a testament to just how dominant he is. The righty earned the save in a 10-8 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, giving him 150 in a Cleveland uniform. Clase surpassed Cody Allen's mark of 149 to set a new franchise record. He currently sits second in saves this season with 40 and has pitched to a miniscule 0.71 ERA.
