アーロン・ジャッジにとっては、いつもと変わらない活躍の日となった。ヤンキースの大砲は日曜日のロッキーズ戦で10-3の勝利に導く2本塁打を放った。通常、複数本の本塁打は特筆すべきことではないが、ジャッジの初回の本塁打は野球史上でも稀な記録となった。今シーズン50号となる本塁打で、ヤンキース史上ではベーブ・ルース以来となる3シーズン以上で50本以上の本塁打を記録した選手となり、MLB全体でも5番目の快挙を達成したのだ。

It was just another day at the office for premium power hitter Aaron Judge. The New York Yankees slugger launched two more blasts in the team's win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, 10-3. Normally, a multi-homer game would be nothing to write home about, but Judge's opening-frame homer put him in elite company. Not only was it his 50th of the season, but he joined Baseball icon Babe Ruth as the only Yankees players in history (fifth MLB player) to belt that many in at least three different campaigns.
