After clubbing 25 homers in the Pacific Coast League, the Houston Astros finally gave Shay Whitcomb the call-up Saturday. The Club's 14th-ranked prospect debuted against the Chicago White Sox, showing that his power translates nicely to MLB. During his first career at-bat, Whitcomb launched a shot off the right-field wall, easing him into a double. He became just the 13th Astros rookie to double in his Major League debut, aiding the team in their 6-1 win.
