In the fourth inning, the Twins third baseman upped that impressive total, singling for his 12th straight hit. The mark ties the longest streak in MLB Expansion-Era history, earning the 26-year-old infielder a standing ovation from the fans at Target Field. His batting helped to power the Twins to a 9-3 win.
