It took three appearances, but pitcher Keider Montero is finally on the board for his first career MLB win. The Detroit Tigers right-hander was on the bump for Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Twins and was dominant. Montero looked as comfortable as ever, allowing six hits across six innings with four strikeouts, while giving up just two runs. His efforts were backed by an offensive explosion where his team raked in nine runs, leading to a 9-2 victory.
