Young phenom Elly De La Cruz is absolutely raking at the plate for the Cincinnati Reds as of late. The 22-year-old shortstop put on a three-hit show at Great American Ball Park on Monday night, topped by his monstrous 439-foot two-run blast to the riverboat deck in deep center field in the sixth inning. It was a no-doubter that left the fans, game announcers, and everyone in between astounded en route to an 11-5 win. Since June 14, De La Cruz is batting .385 and slugging .795 with three homers.
