There was a lot of hype entering the first of a three-game set between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees Friday - and Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto understood the assignment. The righthander struck out seven and silenced the Yankees bats across seven frames in the 2-1 extra-inning contest. The Japanese hurler impressed in his Yankee Stadium debut with arguably his best outing of the season. "I enjoyed the atmosphere," the rookie said. "That was a great stadium."
