Miami Marlins pitcher Anthony Maldonado is off to a fine start in his MLB career. With his family in the stands, the right-hander needed just 36 pitches to make it through three scoreless innings with two strikeouts in his debut, which came at home against the Washington Nationals on Friday night. However, it wasn't the Florida native's first outing at loanDepot park, as the 26-year-old twirled a scoreless inning for Team Puerto Rico in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
