Cincinnati Reds young star Elly De La Cruz set the tone ahead of Game 1 of the team's doubleheader Wednesday against the Angels. The shortstop launched a three-run homer, his 11th, in the fifth inning to put his Club up by one. De La Cruz would strike again two frames later, using his lightning speed to lace out a three-run triple on a hit to the right-field fence. The 21-year-old ended the day by setting a new career-high in RBI, knocking in six runs.
