The reigning AL Rookie of the Year passed yet another milestone in his young career on Friday. Playing on the road against the Cleveland Guardians, Rodríguez crushed a two-run shot in the sixth, giving his team a 5-3 lead they would not relinquish. For Rodríguez, the home run marks the 30th of his career, making him the fastest player to reach that number in Mariners history, doing so in just 140 games.
