The Philadelphia Phillies had an unlikely hero emerge in their game Friday night at loanDepot park. In the top of the ninth inning, trailing 3-2, outfielder Cristian Pache entered the game as a pinch-hitter. The 24-year-old delivered, smashing a two-run shot into center to provide the go-ahead runs needed for a 4-3 triumph. The victory makes it 13 in a row on the road for the Phillies, tying the franchise record in the Modern Era (1900), which was first set in 1976.
