His fastball was his weapon of choice, averaging 93.9 mph. It was the fourth time in the 30-year-old's career that he carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning of a game. During his showing, Nola struck out 12 batters, tying him with Cole Hamels for third-most double-digit strikeout games in a Phillies uniform (29).
