In what was an incredible display of pitching prowess yesterday afternoon, 29-year-old, left-handed starter Framber Valdez kept the Oakland Athletics scoreless through all nine innings. Remarkably, Valdez fanned seven Athletics batters without a walk, allowing just four hits over the course of this complete-game outing. Naturally, and what's more, this jaw-dropping performance led to a Houston Astros victory, 2-0.
