Squaring off against the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner is typically no walk in the park, but Detroit Tigers starter Eduardo Rodriguez certainly made it feel that way on Thursday afternoon. The 30-year-old southpaw dazzled through eight scoreless innings - and notched a personal milestone in the process. Rodriguez's whiff of Tommy Pham in the top of the fourth inning was his 1,000th career MLB strikeout - a cherry on top of what was an outstanding performance.
