On Saturday evening, the Baltimore Orioles clashed with the Detroit Tigers and called top pitching prospect Grayson Rodriguez to the mound in the night game of a day/night doubleheader. In what was Rodriguez's fifth appearance on a Major League Baseball diamond, the 23-year-old struck out nine Tigers batters over five scoreless innings. Furthermore, after his Club won the contest, 6-4, Rodriguez notched the first win of his MLB career.
