Looking up a 4-3 deficit in the bottom of the ninth inning, New York Mets rookie outfielder Nick Plummer picked the perfect time to leave the yard for the first time in his big-league career. The 25-year-old former first round pick connected on the first pitch he saw from Phillies reliever Corey Knebel, sending the 95 MPH fastball over the right-field wall and tying the game 4-4. This would push the contest into extra innings, seeing the Mets walk-off with a 5-4 win.
