In what was a wild back-and-forth contest on Sunday afternoon at Angel Stadium, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was a constant offensive force for the visitors. The 28-year-old collected five RBI on the day – the second highest output in his five-year career. Gurriel Jr.'s biggest hit of the day was an eighth inning RBI double that broke a 10-10 tie, providing the edge the Blue Jays would need to take the win.
