Last night, Boston Red Sox right-hander Nick Pivetta not only threw the first complete game for his Club in three years, but also only allowed two hits in the process. Pivetta retired the Houston Astros with just 112 pitches over the entire contest, striking out an impressive eight Astros batters while walking none of them. Pivetta's unforgettable night on the mound undoubtedly helped his Red Sox best the Astros, 5-1.
