Taylor Ward's magnificent start to the 2022 Major League Baseball season continued last night when the Angels outfielder nearly completed the cycle, just missing a single. Incredibly, not only did Ward hit a grand slam in the second inning, but the Dayton, Ohio native scored four times himself. This made him just the second player in the Modern Era to collect the same array of hits and score 4+ runs, behind just Roger Maris who did so in 1958.
