The 30-year-old from Murrieta, California, went 2-for-4 at the plate with a run scored, a homer and two RBI. Wisdom's two-run longball came in the top of the fifth inning, off a 92-mph sinker delivered from Kyle Gibson, and traveled 447 feet with an exit velocity of 110.4 mph, per Statcast. This blast marked Patrick's 26th of the year, tying Kris Bryant for the most home runs by a Cubs rookie. Wisdom accomplished this feat in just 96 games, whereas it took Bryant 151.
