Derek Jeter served as the marquee name amongst the National Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2020. The Kalamazoo, Michigan, product received 99.7% of the vote, marking the second-highest percentage in the history of the BBWAA ballot. Jeter took the stage on the lawn one mile away from the sanctified Hall in Cooperstown, New York, and instantly was welcomed with the famous ""De-rek Je-ter!" chants that once echoed throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
