Zack Wheeler continued to leave hitters guessing at the plate as the Smyrna, Georgia native induced 20 swing-and-miss strikes over his 105 total pitches. Wheeler's masterful effort left him with four scattered hits over seven scoreless innings of work, striking out 12 Atlanta Braves hitters. Wheeler has accumulated 90 and 1/3 innings pitched this season which is the best in MLB. The 31-year-old hurler also leads the National League in strikeouts with 112.
