Will Vest made one of the most athletic plays you will see a pitcher make in the bottom of the seventh inning in Friday night's matchup between the Seattle Mariners and Angels. With a runner on third base, the 25-year-old hurler delivered a pitch in the dirt that enticed the baserunner to steal home. Vest instinctively darted to cover home, received the feed from catcher Tom Murphy, and laid out for a full extension tag at the plate to prevent the run from scoring.
