Luis Garcia set the tone for the Houston Astros 5-0, Game 6 ALCS victory over the Boston Red Sox with a brilliant effort on the mound. The 24-year-old hurler from Bolivar, Venezuela, scattered one hit over 5.2 scoreless innings and struck out seven batters. Luis carried a no-hit bid into the sixth inning until Enrique Hernandez connected for a triple. "I was really happy because they said that I was going to start this game," Garcia said. "I wanted to pitch so bad." The Astros fed off this stellar performance and clinched their third World Series berth in the last five seasons.
