Gleyber Torres helped the Yankees pitching staff breathe a little as it clung to a narrow, 2-1 lead for most of the game. In the sixth inning, Torres crushed a two-run home run down the left-field line to extend the team's lead to 4-1. The three-run advantage was more than enough to work with as the Yankees bullpen fired three more no-hit innings to seal an eventual 5-1 victory.
