With the Oakland Athletics carrying a 3-0 lead into the bottom of the fourth inning, Michael Brantley brought the Astros back into the game with a two-run home run. The blast ignited the Astros offense as the team tallied five runs in the inning. However, the veteran was not done there. In the following inning, Brantley responded to a Ramon Laureano blast with his second homer of the game, extending the Astros lead to 6-4 in an eventual 11-6 win.
